Mobistar sees net profit decline in 1Q13 due to regulation

Belgian headquartered telecoms operating group, Mobistar, saw its 1Q13 net profit decrease by 7.9% to €35.1 million (US$44.98 million) in 1Q13 as its revenues were negatively affected by regulatory enforced termination rates. The group’s total consolidated service revenues reached €332 million in 1Q13, down from €358.4 million in 1Q12.
